ABOUT REINHOLD NILSON
Reinhold Nilson writes precise, human science fiction. Born in the United States, he recently relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark, where he lives with his wife and their two dogs. Before turning to fiction, he worked at the intersection of product design and navigation systems—an obsession with maps and machines that shows up on the page.
His Lone Star Trilogy follows first contact, hard choices, and the quiet courage of people who keep the lights on. Book one, Lone Star, introduced Wren and a semi-sentient ship facing an impossible world. Book two, Double Earths, widens the lens as two “Earths” learn to share a system. When he isn’t writing, you’ll find him biking the harbor paths, sketching transit maps, or trying (again) to fix his espresso shot timer. He aims for stories that move like good code: lean, tested, built to last.
